Ways to Save money:

“Open” groups (new)

5% off- to label your small group as “open”

This year we are trying a new strategy in combining small groups.  It happens often that people wish they could have a larger group.  They want people to share the load, the experience and get the rate for 4 -8 people.   We pair small groups or individual persons who have similar dates and goals for the trip.  You will have the opportunity to “meet” each-other before the trip.

5% off all repeat clients.

3% off all cash and check transactions

“NEW” Primitive skills trips 2014

Next season we will be featuring primitive skills trips.  You will learn:

How to start a fire with a Fire Bow

  • make a solar still
  • how to build a structure in the wilderness
  • how to catch fish without a rod & reel

  • navigation
  • and many other survival skills and tricks.

These are skills that I have learned by reading books, checking out videos but most importantly there is no replacement for my years of experience in the wilderness. I have put them to use in a wilderness setting.  If you have watched these shows and you’ve been dreaming about learning the skills to survive in the wilderness,  now is your chance!  We are working on the itinerary but basically it will be a 5 day hiking trip in Superior National forest. We will team up people in groups of two.  If you do not have a partner, don’t worry we will set you up with someone.  Next year we will have two trips both in July when food is plentiful and the weather is comfortable.  If you are interested please contact us as we expect to book these trips quickly.
